Summary in plain English. Yebo Yum is a marketplace for genuine surplus food. This page sets out what partner businesses may not list or sell through the Service. Partners are responsible for ensuring everything they list is safe, genuine, accurately described, and legal to sell. We remove listings and may suspend partners that break these rules.

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to every partner business that lists food for sale through Yebo Yum. It forms part of the Partner Merchant Agreement and our Terms of Service, and should be read together with the partner obligations set out there.

2. What partners may sell

Partners may only list genuine surplus food that is fit for human consumption at the time of collection, that the partner is legally entitled to sell, and that complies with applicable South African food-safety law.

3. Prohibited items

Partners must not list or sell through Yebo Yum:

4. Genuine and accurately described

Partners warrant that every item they list is genuine, is theirs to sell, and is described accurately, including price, collection window, and broad dietary or allergen categories. Misleading, false, or deceptive listings are prohibited.

5. Counterfeit and authenticity

Yebo Yum has zero tolerance for counterfeit or misrepresented goods. By listing on the Service, a partner confirms that nothing it offers is counterfeit, pirated, or sold in breach of any brand owner's rights.

6. Reporting and enforcement

If you believe a listing breaches this policy, please email support@yeboyum.co.za. Yebo Yum may remove any listing, withhold a payout, or suspend or terminate a partner account for a breach, at its discretion and without limiting any other right it has under the Partner Merchant Agreement or our Terms of Service. Serious breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means the partner accepts the updated policy.
